Your aggregate score is the final score that FUTA uses to determine if you will be admitted. The score you need will vary from faculty to faculty and is often different from year to year. In order to calculate your aggregate score, FUTA give equal weight to your JAMB score and your Post Jamb score.
This is the most common method used by many federal schools.
Both scores are placed on a scale of 0-400 and then added together to come up with your final score. This means the JAMB score will be added to 4 times your post UTME score and the total will be divided by 2.
For example if you got a 240 out of 400 on JAMB and 70 out of 100 on Post UTME for FUTA. The aggregate would be calculated as follows:
aggregate = (240 + (70*4)) /2 = (240+280)/2 = 260

@godwin - the minimum cutoff mark changes from year to year we have seen them accept as low as 45 for some courses and as high as the low 60's for some science courses
@essien - the cutoff marks for this year are not out but in the past most schools have kept the JAMB cutoff around 180 or 200 but the post utme cutoff will change depending on how many students apply to futa this year
