Sorry the modal is 6 while the median is = 8 + 6 / 2 = 7. So the product = 6 * 7 = 42.

@Umeokeke Kingsley. The Modal class = 6, Median = (8+6)/2 = 14/2 =7 Hence their product = 6 x 7 = 42.

in ascending order..2,5,6,8 5+6=11. so 11÷2=5.5. i.e median number is =5.5. modal number is=6. therefore product for modal= 6*6=36
