23-02-2016 09:53:00 +0000Most JAMB government exams make several references to various political ideologies. The following list are the most common ones we've observed from the last few years
- Communism/Marxism: Aims for a society that has no classes and the means of production are owned by everyone
- Capitalism: A society where the means of production are owned by private individuals
- Socialism: Somewhere in between capitalism and communism, socialism tries to fairly distribute ownership of resources and the means of production.
- Communalism: Usually practiced by small and or traditional societies. The economy is organized around communal ownership
You may also see terms like:
- Fascism:
- Globalism
- Nationalism

@glory - globalism is the idea that it is good for various countries to continue to grow closers together by integrating their economies (via trade), cultures. That these activities makes everyone better. Those that oppose globalism believe that one countries gain is another countries loss.
