salts are formed from the neutralisation of acids by bases. there are combinations of strong acids and weak bases to form acid salts ,strong bases weak acid to form basic salts, salts that are made from two compounds to form double salts as and also complex salts. also acid salt- are formed when the total number of hydrogen atoms are not oxidised... eg NaHSO4 there are also normal salts... these are formed from strong acids and strong base e.g NaCl
