since they are consecutive numbers it means that
b = a + 1 ------------(1)
c = b + 1 --------------(2)
c = a + 2 ----------------(3)
from question, b² = 4(a + c)
from equation (2) b² = (c - 1)²
thus, 4(a + c) = (c - 1)(c - 1)
c² - 6c = 4a -1
from equation (3) a = c - 2
then, c² - 10c + 9 = 0
by factorization method, c = 9 or 1
but since the question said that they positive integers, c must be a number greater than 3
c = 9
do check to verify the answer
