A lot of people that attempted these questions got it wrong, try and see if you can get it right.
Question 11 An electric cell has an internal resistance of 20hm. A current of 0.5A is found to flow when a resistor of 50hms resistance is connected across it. What is the electromotive force of the cell.
    Option A 5volts.
    Option B 3.5volts.
    Option C 2.5volts.
    Option D 1 volt .
    .
Which of the following is true for the image formed by a convex mirror? I. The image is always virtual II. The image is always erect III. The image is never magnified IV. the focal length is negative.
    Option A I only.
Option B I and II only.
Option C I, II and III only.
Option D I, II, III and IV only

    Solutions
    Question 11
recall that emf = IR + Ir = I(R + r) when in series configuration
where R = external resistance, r = internal resistance of the cell
    thus I = 0.5A, R = 5ohms and r = 2ohms
    emf = 0.5(5 + 2) = 0.5 * 7 = 3.5V
    correct option is B

    Question 2
below is then characteristics of the image formed by a convex mirror
    1. it is virtual
    2. diminished i.e never magnified
    3. it is erect
So from the above the correct option is C.
