Why do student prefer Universities over Polytechnics?

19-05-2015 18:21:00 +0000We did a survey a few months ago asking jambites their first choice of institution. 72% of respondents said they wanted to go to universities and only 16% said they wanted polytechnics. Why is this the case?

In polytechnic u only come out with HND certificate unlike Universities where U come out with degree. Secondly, HND have little or no recognition in d Labour market unlike Universities.
