Here are the answers to yesterday's JAMB Biology 2013 questions. A big thanks to all those that participated! For Question 16 Answer = Option D Anabaena is a genus of filamentous cyanobacteria that exists as plankton. it is known for its nitrogen fixing abilities, and they form symbiotic relationships with certain plants, such as the mosquito fern. For Question 20 Answer = Option C Cellular respiration is the process of oxidizing food molecules, like glucose, to carbon dioxide and water. The energy released is trapped in the form of ATP for use by all the energy-consuming activities of the cell. The process occurs in two phases: glycolysis, the breakdown of glucose to pyruvic acid.
