17-07-2016 16:24:00 +0000Yesterday we put out a short survey to you to try to understand more about JAMB's recent policy of posting Jambites to schools. It has been difficult to understand who is getting posted and what criteria JAMB is using. There has also been a lot of speculation about whether JAMB is done posting people or if more postings will happen in the coming days.
We got well over 500 respondents since we put out the survey (less than 24 hrs ago). So we believe the numbers we're seeing are a good estimate of the overall figures.
So without further delay here are the survey results:

Our Conclusions:
Our reading of the data is that JAMB likely has notified only a partial list of students of their posting and more will be posted eventually
We observed that JAMB appears to have posted people mostly to federal universities and only sent people to their 1st choice university.
On average, the scores of people that have been posted are slightly higher than those that were not but there are many people with excellent scores that were not posted.
We believe that a lot more people will be posted since:
- only about 15% of Jambites have been notified thus far
- few if any people have been sent to their 2nd and 3rd choice school
- Many people with good scores are yet to be posted

@abdulhamid - it doesn't mean that no one has been posted to ABU. Just that none of the people in our survey indicated so. Also that was an optional question so some people left it blank
