How Kogi State University Calculates Your Aggregate Score

19-06-2016 14:04:00 +0000Your aggregate score is the final score that Kogi State University (KSU) uses to determine if you will be admitted. The score you need will vary from faculty to faculty and is often different from year to year. In order to calculate your aggregate score, Kogi State University give your JAMB score 40% weight and your Post Jamb score gets 60%.
This is different from how most federal schools do it - they usually give JAMB equal weight with post UTME.
Your KSU Post UTME score will be based on a 0-60 scale and your JAMB score will be divided by 10 (i.e. putting it on a 0-40 scale).
For example if you got a 240 out of 400 on JAMB and 40 out of 60 on Post UTME for KSU. The aggregate would be calculated as follows:
aggregate = (240 % 10) + 40 = 24 + 40 = 64
