JAMB To Reschedule UTME For Candidates Of Relocated Centres

Following the relocation of some computer-based test (CBT) centres, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) would be rescheduled for the affected candidates.
Speaking to journalists yesterday in Abuja following the protest by some candidates over the conduct of the UTME, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, yesterday said the board relocated 59, 000 candidates in 15 states because of problems in some of the centres.

JAMB: Reps Kick Against Computer-Based UTME

The House of Representatives has urged the federal government to direct the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) to suspend the computer-based 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Test (UTMET).
This followed the unanimous adoption of a motion under matters of urgent public importance by Hon. Oghene Egoh (PDP, Lagos).
Egor said there was need for JAMB to revert to the paper examination until the board was ready to conduct a hitch-free Computer Based Test (CBT).
