The Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, OAU has released a revised version of the 2015/2016 academic calender for students and lecturers to follow. The academic session is to begin after two months of strike that paralyzed academic activities,the Institution is about to resume for the 2015/2016 academic session on the 3rd August, 2016...................... OAU Academic Calender 2015/2017 The OAU academic calender contains the date of resumption which is on the 3rd and 7th August,2016 for the fresh students that wrote the 2015 UTME and the returning students respectively. ................The matriculation ceremony holds on the September 1st, 2016 and so on................. July 28, 2016 – Senate August 3, 2016 – Fresh Students come into Residence August 7, 2016 – Other Students come into Residence August 8, 2016 – Harmattan Semester Lectures Commence August 19, 2016 – End of Normal Registration August 31, 2016 – End of Late Registration with Penalty September 1, 2016 – Matriculation September 5-9, 2016 – Continuous Assessment September 28, 2016 – Senate October 28, 2016 – Harmattan Semester Lectures End October 31 –November 4, 2016 – Lecture free week November 7, 2016 – Harmattan Semester Examinations Begin November 25, 2016 – Harmattan Semester Examinations End November 25, 2016 – End of Semester RAIN SEMESTER November 28, 2016 – On-line Registration for Rain Semester Courses.
