For now, I don't think anyone has been posted to his or her second choice of Institute i.e Polytechnic. Why? The reason is that: as long as you nailed the exact cutoff mark for all institutions which is 180, you are entitled to have your name in the list JAMB has sent to various higher institutions for confirmation and screening. Once you've been given provisional admission by JAMB, all you need do is go to school's official website and register for your screening that's if the portal has been opened for screening registration. After that, the school would make a list of those who merit admission based on the verification of the students' credentials. During the course of this, the school's intake capacity would be put to check and based on this, the number of students needed would be admitted and the names of those who weren't granted admission would be sent to JAMB's office and these students would be sent to their second choice of Institute thus, the penultimate choice and the last would be visited by students for screening.
