09-06-2016 22:36:00 +00002016 JAMB RESULT ANALYSIS By Prof. Ojerinde Candidates that scored 270 and above=901 Candidates that scored between 250 & 269=72,243 Candidates that scored between 200 & 249=601,151 Candidates that scored between 180 &199=374, 920 Candidates that scored below 170 which is below the 180 cut- off mark..........................................................=336, 330 failed Ojerinde further said that; Male applicants=833,082 (55.78%) Female applicants=660,522 (44.22%). There are about 63 universities, federal universities in Nigeria (26), state universities (22) and private universities (15) if each admits 10,000 students then there is hope of admission for many.
