Short Biography
She was born in Warsaw, Poland to a school teacher. She lost her mum at age 10. Couldn't continue her education after secondary school hugely because her dad was too poor to take care of university expenses. This led young Maria to pick a teaching job, for some few years before moving to Paris for her university education. Even while in the university she did not allow her background to keep her back on the ground. This was manifested by her graduating as one of the best graduating student in her time.
She combine beauty with intelligent. Despite a strong opposition from her fellow male scientist, (since during that time gender inequality was really high) yet she still went ahead to set a record that no scientist has been able to break by winning the prestigious noble award in physics with her husband, who by then was a professor in physics, and also single handed won the same award in chemistry when she discovered Polonium and Radium(The word Polonium was culled from her country name 'Poland'. I am looking for someone that will put Nigeria in the world periodic table by producing an element called 'Nigerium' Preferably, the person should come from someone reading this).
We have her type only two in Physics and only she in science holding double prestigious noble award in two different discipline. She is a mother, a wife, a scientist, first radiologist. Infant her quality made Albert Einstein to wrote this on her timeline "Not only did she do outstanding work in her lifetime, and not only did she help humanity greatly by her work, but she invested all her work with the highest moral quality. All this she accomplished with great strength, objective and judgement. Its very rare to find all these qualities in one individual" She is a mother to a noble laureate too (Her daughter Irene Joliot Curie). She is Maria Curie
